The 57th Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) is coming up soon.

It is set to be bigger and better than ever!

From 27 March to 30 July 2023, students and young people across the country will take the stage to showcase their artistic talents.

Youth Taking Centre Stage

The SYF 2023 Arts Presentation for Secondary and Pre-University Levels will commence on Monday, 27 March 2023.

This year, about 30,000 students are expected to participate in this festival, with dance, drama and music performances.

Due to the relaxation of COVID-19 requirements, secondary school and junior college choirs can perform live at the SYF Arts Presentation after a 3-year hiatus.

Audiences will be able to watch these performances both in person and online.

This is an excellent opportunity to support and witness our young people’s incredible talent.

Singapore Youth Festival Celebrations

The SYF Celebrations will occur from 30 June 2023 to 1 July 2023 with performances at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.

Students can showcase their artistic talents and be mentored by local artists and industry professionals.

Selected showcases will be available on the SYF digital platform ‘SYFgoesOnline!’.

Singapore Youth Festival Art Exhibition

The SYF Art Exhibition will be held in July this year, and its theme is ‘Artist and Inspiration’.

Primary school students are invited to submit original works inspired by key local and international artists’ work.

David Tan, a National University of Singapore student, said “I am really looking forward to SYF 2023, as it gives us the opportunity to express ourselves and show our talents to the world.”

Supporting our Youth

Our youth can hone their talents, gain recognition, and make lasting memories at the Singapore Youth Festival.

This is a wonderful chance to celebrate our vibrant country and show our support for the younger generation.
