The Free Singapore Tour is back!

After a two-year break, Changi Airport Group, Singapore Airlines, and the Singapore Tourism Board have brought back the popular tour for transit and transfer passengers.

With new stops and exciting experiences, it’s time to rediscover Singapore’s charm.

Rediscovering Singapore

The tour now offers four different options: the City Sights Tour, Heritage Tour, Jewel Tour, and the new Changi Precinct Tour.

Each tour lasts 2.5 hours, taking you to famous attractions, local community spaces, and Singapore’s rich history.

New Changi Precinct Tour

This new tour takes you to eastern Singapore, visiting places like Tampines heartland, Changi Village, and Changi Beach.

You’ll see how local residents live and learn about Singapore’s history away from the city’s hustle and bustle.

Refreshed Itineraries

The other tours have also been updated.

The Jewel Tour now includes visiting local food brands, and the City Sights Tour takes you to the Civic District and Marina Bay Financial District.

The Heritage Tour, starting in June, explores cultural landmarks like the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Arab Street.

Actionable and Practical Takeaways

  • Book your Free Singapore Tour in advance on Changi Airport’s website
  • Ensure your layover is between 5.5 to 24 hours to qualify for the tour
  • Obtain a valid entry visa for Singapore before participating

With the return of the Free Singapore Tour, transit and transfer passengers can once again enjoy a taste of Singapore’s unique attractions.

Mr Lim Ching Kiat, Executive Vice President of Air Hub & Cargo Development at CAG, said, “Together with our partners, SIA and STB, we hope to welcome more passengers who fly through Changi Airport to enjoy a slice of Singapore through our new tours and world-class attractions and facilities.”
