Poly Talent for Finance: What’s the Big Deal?

This scheme is launched by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). 

It aims to support polytechnic students and graduates entering the financial sector. 

Got 3 tracks: internships, apprenticeships, and sponsorships for further studies.

Mr Alvin Tan said, “the financial sector offers good jobs and rewarding careers for polytechnic graduates.” 

So, if you’re a poly student or grad, you might want to check this out.

Internships: Get Job-Ready Like a Boss

First up, internships for poly students. 

You’ll learn important skills and be ready to get a job once you graduate. 

They’ll even fund 80% of your monthly internship stipend, capped at S$1,000 per month for up to 12 months!

Apprenticeships: An Alternative Pathway to Success

Next, apprenticeships for poly grads. 

This track gives you another way to get a good job and eventually take on university graduate-equivalent roles. 

Salary support of up to S$2,000 per month for 12 months. 

And if you get into those roles within 3 years, you get salary support for an additional 12 months!

Sponsorships: Level Up Your Education

Lastly, sponsorships for finance professionals who hold a diploma. 

Want to pursue relevant post-diploma and degree-equivalent programmes? 

This track funds 50% of your tuition fees, capped at S$10,000.
