Singapore’s premier Malay entertainment awards show, Pesta Perdana 2025, promises a night of glitz, glamour, and cultural celebration.
Pesta Perdana 2025 Overview
According to Mediacorp, the upcoming Pesta Perdana 2025 is set to be a spectacular celebration of local Malay entertainment.
The event, themed “A Moment for a Lifetime”, will take place on 24 May 2025.
This 18th edition of Pesta Perdana marks a significant milestone as it honours Suria, Singapore’s Malay-language channel, for its 25-year legacy.
The Guest-of-Honour for this prestigious event will be President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Ms Jane Ittogi.
Event Details
The celebration kicks off with Pesta Perdana Glam 2025, the red-carpet segment of the show.
RIA 897 DJs Azura Goh and Fadli Kamsani, along with Fikah Zainal and Zhin Sadali, will host this glamorous prelude.
The main show will be hosted by a star-studded lineup including Era Farida, Farhana M Noor, Fauzie Laily, and Najip Ali.
A highlight of the event will be the presentation of 25 awards, including the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
The trophy has been given a makeover, now designed as a diamond-cut crystal ball to symbolise Suria’s brilliance and enduring legacy.
Awards and Public Voting
Pesta Perdana 2025 will feature public voting for two popular categories.
Fans can cast their votes for “Most Popular Male Personality” and “Most Popular Female Personality” until 24 May 2025, 10.00am via mediacorp.sg/pestaperdana.
This opportunity allows the audience to actively participate in recognising their favourite Malay entertainment personalities.

Adding to the nostalgia, familiar faces from popular shows like Krayon, Anak Metropolitan, and Cinta Bollywood will make special appearances.

The Pesta Perdana Glam segment will be broadcast live from 7.00pm to 8.00pm on mewatch, Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube, Mediacorp Untukmu on TikTok, and Suria.
The main live show will air from 8.30pm to 11.00pm on mewatch, Mediacorp Entertainment on YouTube, and Suria.

Mediacorp’s Statement
According to Mediacorp, Angeline Poh, Chief Customer and Corporate Development Officer, said, “This year’s Pesta Perdana will be a spectacular night sparkling with a stellar line-up of artistes, immersive performances, and heartfelt tributes.”
Poh further emphasised the significance of the event in the context of Suria’s anniversary.
As quoted in Mediacorp’s press release, Poh mentioned, “As we mark 25 momentous years of Suria, the show will honour the trailblazers who have shaped local Malay entertainment, while shining a spotlight on the exciting new talent leading the way forward.”
