Over 950k HDB households get U-Save & S&CC rebates in July 2024

Financial Support for Household Utilities

According to the Ministry of Finance (MOF), in July 2024, more than 950,000 HDB households will receive U-Save and S&CC rebates.

These rebates are part of ongoing efforts to ease cost-of-living pressures for Singaporeans.

Eligible residents in 1- and 2-room flats will see their utility bills covered for about 8 months.

Those living in 3- and 4-room flats will receive about 4 months’ coverage of utility bills.

  • Rebates will be credited directly to utility and S&CC accounts, no action needed.
  • Eligible households will receive up to $950 in U-Save rebates in FY2024.
  • Up to 4 months of S&CC rebates will be given out over the financial year.

Improved Rebate Schemes

This will help ease the money worries, especially during these times of rising prices.

Throughout FY2024, the rebates will be given out in four parts: April, July, October, and January.

A special, one-off Budget 2024 S&CC Rebate will also cover 0.5 months of S&CC in January 2025.
