Lianhe Zaobao reports that the continuous pile up of rubbish around a local hawker center is contributing to a sudden spike in rat infestation.

At the core of this rat infestation near Blk 628 of Ang Mo Kio 4, is a growing pile of waste, most of it being paper and cardboard.
